Pharma*Net was designed to cater for the smooth running of Pharmaniaga Berhad's operations in supplying pharmaceuticals and medical supply to government hospitals and clinics nationwide. Forte Tech Solutions was responsible for the creation and deployment of an Integrated Hospital Inventory System that linked all clinics and hospitals to a central purchasing unit and a host of other applications that makes up a complete Supply Chain Management System to ensure timely, uninterrupted supply to its clientele.

   

The technology adopted by Pharmaniaga for its entire operation has resulted in us creating the nation's first HealthcareVirtual Private Network, connecting to over 140 government hospitals at both state and district levels to our Data Center. Pharmaniaga continues to further streamline the nation's healthcare delivery operations, utilizing data mining capabilities with the convergence of more than 650 health clinics into the Pharma*Net since 2003, resulting in a total of more than 800 linked sites as at August 2007. This has made them one of the biggest healthcare Virtual Private Network in the country, if not the Asian region.
